Mission:

Sexual health is central to our well-being - and yet is often associated with shame, insecurity and cultural taboos. Young people in particular have a great need for education. Even 50 years after the ‘sexual revolution’, there is often a lack of clear information and safe spaces to talk about sensitive topics such as HIV, sexually transmitted diseases and gender roles. The challenge: How do we transform complex knowledge into an interactive exhibition experience that touches and informs without pointing a finger - and is designed in such a way that it reaches people of all ages without language barriers?

Solution:

‘Only Human’ - this was the guiding principle behind an innovative travelling exhibition for Caritas Munich that introduces the topic of sexual health in a bold and culturally sensitive way. Our creative design concept uses humour and charm to make even difficult topics accessible. Six walk-through exhibition walls convey content on relationships, role models and prevention in interactive modules - comprehensible, accessible and largely language-free. The focus is not on instruction, but on dialogue: Touchscreens, audio contributions and interactive elements create a protected space for everyday education.

Success:

The exhibition struck a nerve: numerous media reports, high visitor numbers and the positive response from teachers, young people and social workers show how great the need for dialogue is."Only Human" continues the successful educational work of Caritas and is more than just an exhibition: it is a source of inspiration and a meeting place that breaks down taboos - and encourages people to take responsibility for themselves and others.
