CARE

More than sustainability. A matter of attitude.

Munich, 28.10.2025 – CARE is our way of taking responsibility — for people, for the environment, for how we live together. Not as an obligation, but with RÜCKENWIND: with joy, conviction, and curiosity. For us, CARE is not a trend. It’s an inner attitude that runs through everything we do — sometimes intentionally, sometimes simply as second nature.

CARE also means:
Observing mindfully, questioning things, trying new approaches.
What does it really take to create a successful event? What can we leave out? What can we reuse or rethink?
How can we help shape a society where life is better for everyone?

1. Social Responsibility
We want to be part of something positive — with our team, our clients and partners, and within society. For us, people always come first.

Our Team: We believe that those who want to create good things need a strong sense of togetherness. Social responsibility starts within our own team — with genuine participation, fair opportunities, and mutual respect on equal footing.
Clients & Partners: In our collaborations with clients, suppliers, and fellow agencies, we see social responsibility as something lived, not stated. We are a reliable and fair partner within a network that has grown over decades, built on trust, respect, and shared values.
Responsibility in Action: From charity events to the Caritas Only Human exhibition and educational formats with social impact — we focus on projects that make a difference and formats that reflect our values.
We support initiatives such as Treibhaus, offer internships for students, and are always open to new ideas.

To us, CARE means:
Taking responsibility — and giving others a tailwind.

2. Environmental Responsibility
Right behind our agency flows the Schwabinger Bach, and just beyond it lies the English Garden.
We love the nature on our doorstep — the parks, the lakes around Munich, the nearby mountains.
Because we spend a lot of time outdoors, we know: environmental protection starts small — in everyday life and in every event.

Critical Event Design: What is truly necessary? What can be reused? What can be done digitally?
In an industry often driven by speed and resources, we see it as our mission to create events that make an impact — without leaving a heavy footprint.
Sustainable Catering & Venues: Regional, seasonal, fair — we pay attention to the details and work with partners who share our standards of quality and responsibility.
Accessibility by public transport, energy-efficient infrastructure, and ideally a verified certification are key selection criteria.
On request, we provide a transparent Sustainable Event Checklist — a tool for smarter, more conscious decisions.
Check & Balance: We review supply chains, question standards, and choose partners carefully.
Through transparency and open communication, we show what’s possible — and where progress still needs work.
Travel Behavior: We monitor our internal CO₂ footprint, document our travel, and offset emissions where necessary.
Sustainability isn’t a side topic — it’s at the heart of how we operate.
Systematic & Collaborative: At RÜCKENWIND, sustainability isn’t an afterthought but a mindset — embedded in processes we continuously refine and align with our clients.
We deliver projects that, from creative concept to execution, are designed to minimize environmental impact.
Consulting: We actively support our clients in developing sustainability concepts — hands-on, strategic, and collaborative.
Together, we design events that leave a lasting impression — emotionally and environmentally.

To us, CARE means:
Acting consciously — with foresight and appreciation.

3. Corporate Volunteering
CARE is more than a concept for us — it’s something we live and breathe. As a team, through real encounters, in projects that last.
Corporate Volunteering means contributing our time, expertise, and energy where they’re needed — in social institutions, environmental initiatives, or community projects that matter.
In the future, we aim to integrate this even more deeply into our work — through regular engagements, new partnerships, and formats that offer real value for our clients and partners alike: as meaningful team experiences that create connection and impact.

Right to Play: We support Right To Play, an international children’s aid organization that uses play and sport to help every child realize their potential.
This year, we’re supporting the organization pro bono — offering strategic guidance and hands-on support for its 25th anniversary celebration.
CARE DAY 2025: For this year’s Care Day, our teams from Berlin, Cologne, and Munich went on a cycling tour through Munich — focusing on sustainable urban development, neighborhood engagement, and integrative initiatives.
We visited organizations such as Bellevue di Monaco, Right To Play, and the creative recycling project Treibgut.
Through a Climate Token Challenge, our teams tracked their movements across the city in a fun, climate-conscious way — with plenty of energy and team spirit.

For Clients & Partners:
We’re happy to organize Social Days for your teams — from the first idea to the final implementation.

To us, CARE means:
Getting involved. Growing together. And never forgetting to have fun along the way.
