Mission:
Daiichi Sankyo is a global pharmaceutical company with its headquarters in Japan. The company's Japanese origins are also emphasised at its European headquarters in Munich. How can we bring a piece of Japan to Munich at the joint summer party, while at the same time expressing appreciation for the employees and creating an inspiring setting for unforgettable moments?
Solution:
Welcome to our Daiichi Sankyo ‘Secret Garden’ - an enchanted oasis of well-being in the centre of the city. Urban gardening has been a trend in the Japanese metropolis for years and every square centimetre between the buildings is lovingly planted with greenery. Inspired by this, we transformed the inner courtyard of the European headquarters into an exotic garden landscape for a day with planters, real palm trees and colourful lanterns. The catering concept is also inspired by this: Herbs are harvested directly from planters and provide the right refreshment in summer temperatures - whether in delicious bowls or specially created summer drinks. Of course, a stylish ice-cream bicycle was also a must - this is how pure summer happiness tastes!
Success:
Around 250 people celebrated a summer's day together at ‘Tropical Sounds’ and discovered the familiar surroundings as a ‘Secret Garden’ in a completely new light. The best moments under palm trees were captured on the photobooth - and will be remembered for a long time to come. An all-round successful event with a touch of the exotic - the magic of the moment was sparked during the relaxed get-together under palm trees.
